The Chapel of the Holy Cross designed by Marguerite Brunswig Staude
is considered to be one of the significant modern churches in
the world, built into the red rock cliffs. It took an act of Congress
to build it on national forest lands. The visitor center is open
daily 9-5.

A drive up one of America's most extraordinary natural canyons
is a "must see" for every visitor.
- Schnebly Hill
Road in Sedona, Arizona
Visit one of the
most beautiful scenic overlooks in all of Sedona by traveling
up the 4 mile dirt road. .
- Jerome
Not far away is the
Nineteenth century mining town, literally built into the side
of a cliff. Visit the mining museum, quaint shops, and go antiquing.

National monuments
