Along the way you will see and hear about Oak Creek Canyon, the Colorado Plateau, the Painted Desert, shop at one of the oldest active trading posts on the Navajo Reservation and of course see and experience the Grand Canyon!
In the oldest frontier tradition trading posts were the common ground where culture and community met and flourished. The Cameron Trading Post today, as nearly a century ago, serves as the center for local trade as well as a source for Native American arts & crafts. Hand-crafted traditional patterns passed down through generations—rugs, weavings, baskets, pottery, jewelry, and carvings—make valued mementos that will suit any traveler. A vast selection of souvenir and curio items are also available, and many have told us that the trading post has been the high light of the trip. So be sure to bring extra cash or save room on the credit card.

This memorable tour takes you east along the rim of the Canyon where the Colorado River emerges from the depths of the inner gorge. Highlighting your tour is Desert View where you will find the Watchtower, a recreation of the unusual towers erected by the ancient Indians of the Southwest.

This is the Grand Tour of the Grand Canyon and other important sites in Northern Arizona. You will enjoy a storytelling tour guide as you visit the famous Cameron Trading Post on the Navajo Indian Reservation and last, but definitely not least the Grand Canyon.
