Stops along the way include scenic points and sites on the South and East Rims of the Grand Canyon, gourmet boxed lunch, and a chance to shop at the historic Trading Post in Cameron on the Navajo Reservation before bringing you back to beautiful Sedona at the end of your day. 

All rooms include a mini-refrigerator, coffee maker with complimentary coffee, and 32" Plasma TV with extended 40 channel cable. All rooms are beautifully decorated with a comfortable country decor. A ride on the Verde Canyon Railroad's historic route from Clarkdale to Perkinsville and back-into Arizona's other "Grand Canyon" - is an unforgettable adventure you won't want to miss this Holiday Season!

Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from December 1-23, the train pulls away from the depot in Clarkdale, AZ (just 25 min. from Sedona) with two Very Important Elves aboard. Santa and Mrs. Claus entertain passengers throughout the Verde Canyon Railroad’s four-hour journey singing carols and handing out Mrs. Claus’ homemade cookies.

Verde Canyon Railroad is a classic train trip, a journey of style and comfort into some of the most vivid scenery in the Southwest. Like classic train travel, Santa, cookies and family values are classics that never go out of style. For a few wonderful hours, families disconnect from their MP3 players, cell phones and computers and reconnect with each other.
